Autistic Me! is a public and educational 501(c)(3) organization that issue grants to families with children who has Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The grants are to assist individual children with doctor visits, medications, and Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy. Autistic Me! was founded in January 2019, by Danielle DeBoskie, a single parent of a child with autism. Recognizing the struggles faced with raising her son, Jordan and costs needed for medical, therapy, and educational services. This encouraged Danielle to dedicate her time with empowering families to take charge of their child's health and promote healthy behaviors.
According to estimates from CDC's Autism and Developmental Disabilities Monitoring (ADDM) Network. 1 in 59 children has been identified with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Moreover, autism is the second most common serious developmental disability affecting children in the United States. If Autistic Me! touches only one child's life, it makes a huge difference.
